ain't we got fun

well - I might as well put something in here

I was thinking - something like this

http://people.tribe.net/frogfarley

this week I found new friends on tribe who showed me some wonders, I felt the old-t-friends and appreciate them more all the time

it's funny - because there is an empathy that is immediate on the cyber-sleeve that I really dig here, though another t-friend complained of delusions of intimacy, I find that there is only so far cyber-friends go, and yet - there can be so much shared that it is still very rewarding - thank you all

I broke the 2200 views this week - woohoo! since I haven't been around the tribes much, I am amazed people are still scoping me... but i did get back to a couple of my faves, flirting shamelessly and word freaks - that was long overdue - also - witnessed the birth of a new tribe
tribes.tribe.net/wackytangents - please come play with us - it's new and there's not a lot up yet - but if you freaks and weirdos (which, I'm pretty sure you all are) come make it fun, it will be nutty and hilarious!!!! like - Seinfeld with a mouthfull of cashews!

also this week, I passed page 150 (word, about 3300 characters per page) on my book - which is about 220pp (1400 to 2700 chars per page) paperback style - i.e - I am bout 3/4's done which is so great, because two months ago I was about a third done and going nowhere fast - thanks to t-friends for support (both practical, moral, and generally affirming )- you know who you are ... or maybe not...

lastly - this week I really felt like I was at home at the Rev - the Revolution Cafe, SF is one of the coolest cafe's ever - and it only is partially to do with the 'we don't care if you smoke weed on the patio' policy - there are less than 5 places in town you can get a beer and have a smoke (ciggie) whilst sitting down, the Rev, Zeitgeist, and the other patio places, and the Thieves bars, where you can actually smoke and drink indoors! but I have been going to the Rev for a while and lately I have really felt welcomed, recognized and part of the fam, as it were - it's not all about Cheers sentiments, but it is nice to go where everybody knows your name, they're glad you came, etc etc

and I finally watched Farenheit 9/11 - boy - I didn't think I could hate this administration any more than I did - but I am frothing at the proverbial mouth - vaguely inspired a dark and angry little bit of verse:

catapult to camelot
fables greater family
fantasy
flowers for followers
of starchild dreams
ours the power
reaux sham beaux
culture guns paper
no more trees
hemp flax now
guns hemp culture
no more guns
wars will be fought with garbage
whoever has the most garbage

culture crop survival
we don’t change
we die

fantasy fable dream
who’s the fool
when there’s no one left
to laugh last
every suit is a clown’s
uniformity a deformity
to conform

in us all
apparently many truths
are not self evident nor
ever evident for
the have nots
but there’s what you can have
and what you got
in the present sense only
and only a fool like me
laughs at the difference
and the fools
who don’t know the difference
